Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages. This role is essential in promoting mental wellness and managing psychiatric disorders, ensuring high-quality care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Prescribe medication and monitor patient responses to treatment.
Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients and their families.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Valid state nursing license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
Experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
